The Tor des Géants anniversary edition06 September 2019
The Tor X, the 10th edition of the Tor des Géants, takes place from September 6 to 15 in Valle d'Aosta (IT).
This "anniversary edition" promises to be sensational, with more than 2000 trail runners registered for the longest races and 76 different nations represented.
The Tor, for its tenth birthday, offers four races:
- Tor des Géants, ca. 330 km and 27000 m D + along the Alte Vie 1 and 2 of the Valle d'Aosta, from 8 to 15 September 2019, with departure from Courmayeur at 12 am on Sunday 8 September and maximum time until 6 pm on Saturday 14 September.
- Tor des Glaciers, ca. 450 km and 32000 m D + along the Alte Vie 3 and 4, starting from Courmayeur at 8 pm on Friday 6 September 2019 and ending Saturday 14 September at 6 pm, in Courmayeur.
- TOR130 - Tot Dret, ca. 130 km and 11000 m D +, starting from Gressoney-St-Jean at 9 pm on Tuesday 10 September and maximum time until 5 pm on Thursday 12 September.
- TOR30 - Passage au Malatrà, ca. 30 km and 2300 D +, a new race on technical tracks, through incomparable landscapes, dedicated to specialists but also to those who want to experience the first suggestions of mountain races. Start on Saturday, September 14 from Saint-Rhémy-En-Bosses at 10 am and finish line at Courmayeur, where you must arrive by 6 pm on the same day.
