Women's mountaineering

Crossover boots developed to meet the needs of the female audience

What are the key features of a mountaineering shoe dedicated to the female universe? Kayland responds to this question: greater lightness, focus on the specific shapes of the feminine foot, personalization of the dress and choice of colors closer to the feminine taste.

The Treviso company therefore offers two extremely technical footwear, designed for mountaineers wishing to venture on high altitude expeditions, ice hiking, high mountain hiking, multiple day backpacking. They are boots that arise from crossover concepts, therefore not necessarily linked to a single specialty, but suited in different ways of interpreting the mountain.

Apex Rock W's GTX

Apex Rock W's GTX is a mountaineering pedal that lends itself to expeditions over several days, even without ice. The upper consists of suede, thick and robust, and inserts in anti-abrasion microfibre.

Lace up to tip allows a custom fit. The Gore-Tex® Performance Comfort lining is a guarantee for breathability and waterproofing. The sole block is technical and precise: PU and TPU wedge with differentiated densities to precise areas, allowing for absorption of impacts and perfect torsional rigidity for the use of semiautomatic crampons; the Vibram® Mulaz Evo sole is the perfect complement, as it guarantees excellent traction on rock, mixed surfaces and wet surfaces.

Cross Mountain W's GTX

Cross Mountain W's GTX has more features than backpacking. It is lighter and more versatile, while retaining technical features. The upper, suede and synthetic fabric with antiabrasion inserts, is designed to dynamically wrap the female foot, increasing the feeling of comfort. In addition, the shoe is equipped with the Ankle Lock system that assures the ankle in the seat and allows natural movement without friction and twist. The rubber strap guarantees optimum protection from rock spikes, roots and debris.

The lacing up to tip allows a custom fit and additional technicality. Cross Mountain is also equipped with the Gore-Tex® Performance Comfort lining that guarantees waterproofness and breathability. This model is also compatible with the use of semi-automatic crampons, making it suitable for use on ice, snow and frozen ramps. The sole consists of two-density, shock-absorbing and stacking microporous wrap, and the Vibram® Mulaz Evo treadmill, which is optimal for traction and adherence to any surface.
